NEOGOV Facebook App Enhances Bassett Unified School District’s Social Recruiting Capability

Using NEOGOV’s Facebook integration, Bassett Unified School District recently started posting open positions on its Facebook page.

“Social recruiting is an important tool for Bassett USD because it expands our digital footprint,” said Dr. Alex J. Rojas, Superintendent of Schools, Bassett Unified School District. “It allows us to communicate with a larger audience across multiple social media platforms and expands our recruiting efforts beyond the limits of 20th century recruiting strategies.”

With the NEOGOV Facebook app, job seekers will be able to view current Bassett Unified School District job openings on Facebook. They can search by keyword, including job title, location and job type, and they can also search by job category.

NEOGOV’s Facebook App automatically posts job openings to an employer’s Jobs page on their Facebook account. It requires no additional maintenance on the employer’s part to keep the information up-to-date. By listing job openings on Facebook, employers can significantly broaden their audience and gain the “word of mouth” benefits of social media where people like or share information with their friends.

When an applicant clicks on a job posting, they will be taken to Bassett Unified School District website to view the job posting and apply.
